Prior to opening Bellaire Assisted Living and Memory Care, we have been an established home care provider for more than 20 years, serving our Denton community and caring for its people and making life's challenges easier. 

 

Our founder, Kimberly Truax, found her passion 28 years ago for the quality care of seniors as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and quickly saw the need to make a difference in their lives. Before creating Kind Companions 20 years ago and Bellaire Residential Assisted Living and Memory Care, she served as an Assistant Administrator,  Administrator, General Manager, Executive Director as well as a Quality Assurance Specialist for 14 assisted living communities for a national leader in the industry. She is a state Certified Assisted Living Manager (CALM), a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), and a Vibrational Sound Practitioner (VSP) that promotes healing and wellness of the mind, body, heart and soul.
